It seems appropriate, as yesterday’s rain and balmy temperatures reveal broad swaths of green across campus, to share this video featuring UNH Ph.D. student Elizabeth Burakowski. It’s from a group of outdoor recreationalists called Protect Our Winters, which describes itself as “a tax exempt, non-profit organization dedicated to reversing the global warming crisis by uniting the winter sports community and focusing our collective efforts towards a common goal.”
As a bonus to folks more interested in winter sports than climate science, the film is chock-full of cool skiing and snowboarding footage.

Great video! And with snow sports such a critical part of our NH economy (and tax revenues), it really hits home.
